    HE LOVES HIS CREATURES. Look at him in every scene where he has a creature in front of him. He is in love with these wonderful things. How gently and lovingly he cares for them and interacts with them.

    And look at Jacob. Newt has this fantastic ability to impart his love on others. Jacob is just some Joe Shmoe from New York who only hours ago was a generic No-Maj, and within that time he has seen and fallen in love with creatures that defy existence as he’s known it. Because of Newt.
